well, i JUST read an article about it...really wanted to try it out on myself...didn't have any fresh ginger but did have 'very lazy' ginger by the English Provender Company....works wonderfully without ages of preparation!

applied a slice to my clit...about a minute later the burning started, it was quite a gentle build up, and it lasted for about 15 mins from one tiny slice....it also made me UNBARABLY horny....it does get quite burny....but it's good burny!

and another advantage of using the lazy ginger?....the juice from the jar is really intense, and has tons of aphrodisiac qualities when poured over....

really....tis something EVERYONE should do...all the time....

I love figging ... see DonnaTS weblog from a few days ago. A good friend of mine also uses clove oil( this has to be used very sparingly though as its more intense than ginger.

It is better to use a proper ginger hand though than "Lazy ginger". arwen xxx

I have a bottle of spices, made by and formerly sold by someone in the lifestyle which has a similar effect. He used to do a range, this one (looking at the contents label) contains red chilli, lime and root ginger blended in a vegetable oil base.

The clit is a good place, so on a cotton bud is the anus

As you say the effect isn't instantaneous I've known people look at me after I've applied it wondering what the fuss was about and then slowly realising

BTW I don't know how you applied it to your clit but be careful how you pee next as it might set it off again <eg>

Very true Thunder , I'm a chef by trade and its my job to prepare the hand and fingers myself. This works for me , it may not for others. I prepare the fingers and have them soaking in a saucer of water before play. It prevents the finger from drying out and is easier to insert to. any other cheffing tips please mail. lol

BTW with the salve I use , water actually revives it. I once took pity on a sub and errm used a wet flannel to try to clean it out of her anus. Not only did it revive it but my finger inside the flannel pushed it further down.

Don't forget wafer thin mint strips. Just remember to wash out afterwards especially if the sub is going to wear knickers later otherwise they finish up with a green crotch

Don't lose sight of the build up value. If your sub/slave has experienced figging before I doubt that they will be eager to try again (certainly not anally). Hogtie them in a position that they can see what you are doing, then pull out a good size finger of ginger. Take a sharp knife and start peeling - real, real slow in front of them. Make sure they can see and smell what is being done. Offer sweet words of encouragement like "you know where this is going don't you"? and by the time you have finished peeling they are going to be besides them selves.

Convenience has it's uses, but you can't beat the real thing.
