Thanks for sharing that @KinkyClover.

It's great that you've put some (more) time into the community to share what I am sure is a valuable resource. Of course, not only is it a useful guide for rope bottoms but those that tie should also read it and can use the information to everyone's advantage.

I've had the scissor effect happen to a few people that I've tied and as someone that actively seeks to try to escape from bondage that I am in (I enjoy doing so) I have scissored my own hands too.

I will read over this in greater length in due course. But a massive thanks. I think there are a few on fetlife. I might see if I can find them and link you. Are you aware of any? Have you shared yours there? A pooled resource might be good?

Best regards. MOW.

ETA: The only thing I might add is that the section on "Personality of the rope rigger" does not strictly describe all riggers*.

I can only really speak for myself here, but whilst I agree there are some riggers out there that are only too happy to "pimp their wares" as it were and appear boastful, some riggers might be quite shy in nature and whilst not being falsely modest about their skills (that is to say by hamming it up and saying "actually, I'm a bit rubbish") they might be reluctant to sound overly confident for fear of being compared with the well known riggers on the scene. This is not a doubt in our/their knowledge or ability, but reluctance to make ourselves seem a bit too fond of our own skills. I never pretend to be "as good as the well known riggers on the scene" but that doesn't mean we are dangerous or poorly skilled by proxy either.

Not all riggers identify as Dom/mes either, as I know @kinkyclover is aware :-) I'm only saying this as for some this is an opportunity to top rather than dom the scene, so might not necessarily bring the same dynamics to the scene as it were.

*Just thought I'd throw that into the mix. I know that nowhere did it state all riggers are the same - just expanding on the personality bit a little.

Thank you for the reply. I am actually re-writing the bit on personality, and giving it a different heading, as I think it will read better written differently.

Thank you. :-) I knew when writing this there could be debate on the terms I am using, but I decided to go with top/rigger and bottom, and hope it would be clear.

Thanks for the input, I agree, this section needs a bit fo work.

Thank you

Clover
