As I'm starting my journey into this convoluted landscape I wondered what the majority of Dominants actually think of subs? Do you respect them? Despise them? Are you fond of them? Are you protective of them or couldn't give a shit? Do you care about their happiness or is it just about you and yours? Do you prefer a confident, happy sub or one who is mired in misery and self doubt? Do you think about them as human beings or as pets or simply as receptacles for your use? I'm really curious what the prevailing image of submissives is in the dominant psyche. |

I have a great deal of respect for submissives who are able to deliver what they promise to.
I respect them for a great number of reasons, not least of which is that they are able to make their partner's happiness their priority.
I develop a very deep fondness for them and can be extremely protective of them (not that they always want/need protecting), how can one not?
I much prefer a confident, happy sub... who wants to see a miserable, pained face/expression whenever you are with a partner?
Each and every one is a human being, they should also be a receptacle, if that is what I want at the time.  @The_Coven / @The_Problem_Page, you might give the advice that someone needs. / I want the "Moon on a stick and the Stars suspended from bunting". / So many haystacks, so few needles! / Conserve conversation and converse about conservation!

All of the above...depending on what the circumstances are. As I lead, so my sub follows, and delights in being treasured and owned...as well as mindfucked and used.

Well, I can't talk for other dominants - but I, personally think of subs as PEOPLE first and subs second. *UPDATE* Model(s) for "how to" bondage photographs (and other bondage photographs) have now been found. Thank you to all who showed interest.
