Hair removal is often a subject talked about on this website. Better than talking about the weather! I have tried various suggestions made on these boards myself, but I personally like to use a hair trimmer, the type a barber can use for haircuts. This is good all over your body, underarms, everywhere. The machine is big and bulky but is great for removing hair down to the skin level (even your scrotum) but beware because it stings if your hands shake and you cut skin -- eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeyooooooooooooooooowwwww As for the comment about waiting for male pattern baldness, doh, in this instance -- I wish. Any new razor and new blade will then help with finishing -- hot water in a shower is just as good as using a foamy lather. Now there is a technology sold by large Boots chemist shops that is based on pulsed light you can also go and have this 'treatment' done using the same device to remove hair permanently, never tried it, but it does sound interesting, anybody have any experience of this tech?

They make sensitive versions, though, that say on them they can be used on those areas -- I've never bought them, but I've seen them in shops. And I've used the regular version on my bikini line before with no ill effects (before I knew of the existence of the sensitive stuff, and before I just decided to buy a decent razor and do it that way).

Other than the previous suggestions maybe find a willing friend? As for hair removal cream sensitivity try a bit on a non-sensitive area first, being a sufferer of eczema I don't go near it, and have heard mixed reviews on their effectiveness. Assumption is the mother of all flamingo-ups

If you have the right combination of hair colour and skin tint, consider laser or IPL for a long term solution if this is an awkward area to reach. Shop around for a good combination of cost/skill. Costs seem to be falling but some are still very expensive. For many but not all people, it can be a permanent solution. Some home IPL machines work for some people with the Boots machine having the highest level of output. Again, you have to have the right combinations of hair/skin and it would be very easy for a friend to do it for you. Again, results vary and the initial layout isn't cheap. I have the Boots machine and it works pretty well on me for thicker dark hair (groin, scrotum, armpits). Can't say it is a happy experience in sensitive areas, but on the back, it would be fine for me. Other than that, waxing if you can't reach it, epilate if you can. First time epilation can be hellish but after that it tends to be easier as not all the hairs regrow at once. Not sure I'd let anyone else but me use an epilator on me. For waxing, a lot of beauty salons will happily do men. As has been said, ask around. Phoning first can make it less embarassing if that is an issue. Edited 16 Nov 11, 5:14 PM by DrTaps

Hi I dont know if you heard about hair folliculitis, it is what I have been suffering from that for a while, tried the shaving but that left the hair still attached to the folicle, then started waxing and that worked but left ingrown hairs and was messy. I finally decided to have laser now so fingers crossed

Haven't they invented a public fish tank experience to do this yet?
