Hello All,
I am asking this question on the basis that it is something I have thought about doing for a while. I am a switch but sub to only my partner. I have had several submissives over the years which my partner has thankfully been more than OK with on condition that I don't Dominate him. The problem is that my partner has a serious job and I do not want to cost him his job because of what I do. I have decided against setting up my own website and will refuse to take or allow photographs or provide sexual gratification for my partner's peace of mind. Is there a way that I can advertise my time by word of mouth or by IC alone, without my own website? Before I met my partner in 2008 I was a serious Domme who could use my mind and my mannerisms to get what I wanted without hurting people. Having had my special man for 3 years it became clear who wore the trousers but he is aware that there is still the lioness within. I am particularly interested in "lifestyle" domination (enforced diet/exercise, chasitity, uniforms etc) rather than BDSM sessions as I have a very keen interest in psychology and would like to use that rather than beating people! Word of mouth would be difficult as very few clients, in my experience, take IC seriously so the chances of them talking to each other is slim. You'd have to join PDUK and UKM and post regularly and interestingly to become noticed and then maybe get a booking. Decent clients avoid newbie PDs, and they would definitely avoid one without a website because you'd sound like a scam. No website and no pics would make your business extremely difficult because that is usually how people find you, research you, and decide whether to see you or not. But it isn't impossible as long as you only ever see your invisible pro domming as a hobby, as in, you may pay the odd bill, but not all of them. It seems to me as though you are making a very hard career choice as impossible as you can. Hmmm...thanks all. Think I might give the whole idea a miss and keep to my "freebies" instead. One of my concerns is, of course, the number of no-shows. I'm not too bothered about but certainly couldn't afford to hire out a private dungeon! Thanks again Elena xx | |

I think you would need some kind of website and some kind of photos, even if they do not show your face. You don't need to hire a dungeon. There are plenty of Mistresses who work from a domestic setting. It just depends how comfortable you are with that. You could try putting a profile on Adultwork or something like that. Its a bit of an awful site really but its an option | |

either take it seriously or dont bother. Offer something which is demand in your area of the country and advertise as much as possible. If you are afraid of doing that for fear of damaging your partners job then just dont do it ?

I was put in touch with a domme from a friend on here who was also on the BCS website. Said recommendation was excellent as the lady's tribute was reasonable, her roleplay as a headmistress was authentic and I came home with a bottom on fire. Actually I would consider visiting her again as she is a real professional and didn't charge by the hour( not that I am getting at dommes who do this). |
