We meet on the LAST TUESDAY of the month at:-The Old Town Hall Tavern(FY6 7AP) in Poulton-le-Fylde Square just 5 minutes drive from Blackpool. Start time is 8PM until close of business at 11PM(ish). Satnav users please be aware the pub is in a pedestrian area so it will only get you to the edge of the Square..not the door. It is a few minutes walk from Poulton Station and buses stop at both ends of the square. There is FREE parking (after 6PM) in The Teanlowe centre car park just a couple of minutes walk away. Hardhorn car park is also just a few minutes away and i'm reliably informed that it also is free after 6PM. For information regarding Buses/Trains etc please contact @Gothian for advice.
Althought the munch will be held in a private upstairs room it is accessed directly through a busy pub so STRICTLY VANILLA(street)DRESS please. Use the stairs immediately to the right of the bar as you enter the building. Apologies to those with limited mobility as there is no lift so this may make us inaccessible to some. We hope to welcome back old friends from our Windmill days and also to make heaps of new ones. See you there folks. As we have to pay a small fee to use the room for the munch i'm going to suggest that people who intend to visit the munch REGULARLY make a small contribution towards the cost.(max£1) If you're passing thru' or new to things and just trying us out for size please don't feel obliged to contribute or let this put you off visiting. myself & Mistres Karen are trying to get there if we can not sure bout something that might obstruct us at the mo. It will be our first munch altho we have done a club a few times, do you have a meet & greet as an initial introduction. slave t |
