Last week I posted that Lloyds TSB had refused to honour a direct debit to a charity, even though they were waiting for a cheque for £6000 to clear, and had even charged me £10 for doing so.
Today I have just had a phone call apologising, refunding the £10 charge and offering me £50 as a distress payment, that I can give to charity.
Credit where credit is due - we all make cock-ups and at least Lloyds TSB have done the right thing.

Been with them for years, and generally, they have been good, even after they have been bad after I have shown them the error of their ways. Blimey, iv gone all dom on a bank! If love is blind I need to find a cane |
