Hi Admin :-)

Sorry if this has been asked before. I tried a search for multiple log in and couldn't find one.

Is it possible to be logged in from more than one device? Whenever I check IC on the iPad I find it has logged me out of IC on the main computer and vice-versa.

It's not a huge problem, but would be useful if I didn't have to log in each time I switched between devices

Thanks for reading !

DT

Also - as a slightly different question - is there any way to stay logged in for longer ? Seems like I have to log back in ( if using my phone ) every few hours, which is a pain in the arse.

It's on the list of things to do when we come to update the sign-in system. When people just used one computer, it made sense because if you acccidently left yourself signed-in, that session was automatically closed when you signed-in next elsewhere. However, with many people using a desktop/notebook and a mobile device it makes senses to change it.

It would also be handy for shared profiles (like some groups) as more than one person could be doing things at the same time. That will be less of an issue after we add moderators to groups, but there will still be some things best done through the group profile itself.

We don't have a timescale for doing all that though, as there are some more urgent things to get to first.

Regards
