Due to my shift patterns where I work both day and nightshifts my body clock is severly mucked up.

It came to a head this week where I haven't had much on due to some changes in my D/S life.

I finished nights on monday morning and have 3 days off and In previouse times I allways had things to do on these days off and usually have a couple of hours sleep on monday serve someone monday daytime then catch up on sleep ,kind of, monday evening then would be busy on tuesday daytime then again on wednesday before winding down for work again thursday daytime.

This week ,however , I had no plans apart from dinner on monday evening so I overslept monday daytime . The knock on effect was I couldn't sleep monday night and then when I finally got to sleep I woke up late on tuesday morning still shattered and kept dozing off tuesday afternoon which meant I was wide awake tuesday night again.

Wednesday was a real oversleep day and due to me being a worry wort I couldn't sleep wednesday evening for worrying about being ate for work on thursday I.e oversleeping which I have done on a few occasions now .

I know I'm waffling and I need to find a happy medium of being busy and rest (also a lottery win would be nice lol) but by writing this down I can now come back and re read it as I start to make some changes on my life and see my progress instead of just thinking and wishing changes.

I'm thinking positive and want to keep it that way and will start posting more happy posts again :)

I can only sympathise, due to many years of shift work I don't actually think I have a body clock any more (it left me in disgust). Finishing nights is a particularly difficult one, I try to do the same as you just sleep a few hours then force myself out of bed so I can re-adjust. I think just remind yourself it's difficult and that at times the shift work and fatigue will cause mood changes, so when you do feel down you know why and that it doesn't last forver.

I have 7 nights to do from tomorrow night. Deep joy.
