Was about to suggest that, I would imagine you could probably do a quick douche/rinse out fairly regularly without much bother... well, aside from pinning your sub down long enough each day. As for an enema every day, I couldn't give a firm answer but would err on the side of caution. Like others have mentioned, it will almost certainly disturb the gut flora, potentially cause chronic inflammation and could bugger (pardon the pun) peristalsis. Looking at it from a risk basis: if there's a very small risk of, say, infection undertaking the procedure once then over the course of a year the risk of infection would be significantly elevated, not merely due to repeating the same low risk procedure but I would *guess* the risk would also rise from absence of any established flora to suppress a foreign pathogen. Similar logic applies to driving: it's fairly low risk but if you drive often enough and are perhaps tired much of the time, you stand a significantly increased risk of being involved in an accident. At the end of the day though, each to their own... if I could undertake activities I wanted everyday, I'd probably be putting myself at risk.

Ah, I get it. I though you meant "ah, but what if the cat in the box is actually Not dead?"...."No, no, no, its dead alright"..."How can you tell, without actually opening the box to check?"..."Are you kidding me, didn't you see that elephant in the room just sit on the box? I tell you, The Cat Is Dead, I'm not opening the box, you open the box!"..."No, YOU open the box!"..."No, YOU open the box!"..."It was your elephant!"..."It was your cat!"..."It was my American friend's cat!"..."Well, he should never have put it in the box, should he?"..."For that matter, that elephant of your's should never have been let off the leash!"
