You should have seen the sight that greeted my eyes this morning. I got up about 10.30ish, opened my curtains and there was Mrs GUF walking along the front garden path running parallel to my bedroom window. She was dressed in dark grey boots, brown trousers, a lovely blue/grey lightweight cotton jacket, buttoned up, with a mandarin collar, and had a green shawl round her shoulders like a cloak, fixed with a small circular gunmetal-coloured broach, not centrally but on her left hand side.
She was absorbed in concentration, walking slowly towards the house, and flicking the hem of the shawl over her shoulder she started patting various pockets. Then she stopped, turned back, began to walk back up the path, still patting her pockets. Then she stopped again, turned about, and repeated the process. Then again. She got to the top of the path and glanced about her environment for a few seconds, head held high, then turned round again and walked back down the path, still patting her pockets.
Then she saw me in the window, entranced and beaming at her, and I went to the front door and let her in.
She was....
*AWED*
She was just like Doctor Who.
A cross between William Hartnell (the First Doctor) and Patrick Traughton (the Second Doctor).
Just when I thought I couldn't possibly fall in love with her any more than I already have!

I am more jealous than words can describe.. Is she available on alternate weekends? Actually, I don't suppose that matters, as she is master of all time and space. In which case, can I borrow her for a couple of hours please? About a week ago.. It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance, for our consideration and application of these things, and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.

Nope. Sorry. Although she has all of space and time to roam in, for some mysterious reason she prefers to spend her days with me. *shrugs* What can I say? Edited 7 Nov 11, 8:15 PM by Grownup_Frankie

Er, how about: "If you strike me down, I will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine"?.. Oh, wrong sub-genre. Sorry... Damn. I *will* find a way... Oh yes It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance, for our consideration and application of these things, and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.
