Poly has advantages, including sartorial ones. This morning the Captain gets to meet @epona74's parents, I think for the first time (or more or less the first time) and is anxious about creating the right impression. So I'm helping her work out what to wear (easy, right: jeans and t-shirt.)
Her: "People's parents never like me. My face just says 'I'm doing dreadful things to your daughter.'"
Me: "Your face doesn't but your earrings do."
Her: hurriedly removes triscellion earrings.
