The Midnight Hour is close at hand and we welcome ALL Creatures of the Night... zombies and ghouls, werewolves, vampires, creatures from black lagoons, things from outer space, kinky corpse brides, mummies, witches and warlocks, Morticia & Gomez, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, & Buffy the Vampire Slayer!. SCREAM! SHUDDER! SHRIEK! So tart yourselves up in all your gothic finery – put on your horns and fangs and come to our Crypt of Perversion! Sexy skeletons, scary mad scientists, voluptuous vampires, brain-eating zombies (provide your own brains), wonderful witches and wicked warlocks (bring your own broomstick), buxom brides of Dracula, freaky Frankenstein and the Wolfman... Yes! It's time to TRICK AND TREAT, and do the ZOMBIE SHUFFLE! COFFIN LIDS OPEN at 9.30pm BACK INTO THE CRYPT 2am …and as if you needed reminding there is a PRIZE! Meet in the Hotel International Bar at 9pm. ……. DIRECTIONS & VENUE INFO • A reminder for those coming from out-of-town - we are 100 yards from Piccadilly train station. We are at 'The Tunnel', next door to 'Legends' 6 Whitworth Street, Manchester M1 3QW Near the junction with London Road. The entrance is through the door marked 'Legends', just to confuse you. But there are 3 handrails, one on each wall, and one running down the centre of the stairs. Apologies for that. However, once in the venue, the bar and toilets are accessible without further steps. Currently we do not have a separate changing area, and right now our patrons are using the toilets to get changed in. We'll let you know of / when this changes. • SMOKING.... We have a seated smoking area at the event... it is secluded, private, and part of the club complex. So you DO NOT have to stand outside on the pavement in all your gorgeous gear. The venue is on the edge of Manchester's Gay Village. lt's 2 doors down from a 24-hour taxi cab firm, and is 2 minutes walk from Piccadilly train station, and the Metrolink. Chorlton St bus station is 5 minutes walk. There is an underground car park next door, and some street parking around the venue. HOTELS 'The Tunnel' is also within 10 yards of 2 hotels, 'Monroe's' (0161- 236-0564) and 'Hotel International' (0161-236-1010). Both hotels are very gay/TV friendly, and are used to people like us! Some of our members have used them already and have given up the thumbs up. They get booked up VERY quickly for Club Lash weekends, so be warned! Hotel International (the hotel next door to Monroe's and therefore two doors away from the venue) is owned by the same lovely people who run the Club Lash venue. They offer a great deal for all Club Lash members who book to stay on a Club Lash weekend. From £25 per room, including breakfast! No, really! Not surprisingly bedrooms book up fast. Ring them on 0161-236-1010. Of course, if you need luxury, the Malmaison is just around the corner...and some of our guests have reported positive things about The Apartment. Also, the flash and comfy MINT Inn is right next to Piccadilly Train Station. There is also a new and very cheap hotel opened up on Canal Street in the Gay Village – 'eazysleep' – it books up fast, but try them at www.eazysleep.net ... we all look forward to seeing you on Saturday November 12th 2011! My boyfriend and I attended Lash last year - to date it's been our only club visit so we're still unsure of the etiquette and what is and isn't allowed. Last time we visited we saw a few people naked and one all female couple indulging in intimate foreplay but very little else. We teased each other and at one point we may have got a bit carried away compared with what most other people were up to. I just wanted to clarify what the limits were for intimate behaviour as although we enjoyed the exhibitionism, we wouldn't want to break any rules or make anyone else feel uncomfortable.
