I'd love to have IC as an iPhone app, but I think it might be difficult to get certain aspects of it past the -censors- ahem. curators of the app store. Apple were quite vocal about their policy of "no porn" on iOS/iPhone/iPad. Including member pictures IMHO would substantially increase the risk of getting the app rejected by Apple. | |

where's the fetlife app? I can't find it in the appstore... Aha, here's what they say they're doing: "... Is there a mobile version of FetLife? () There is no mobile specific version of FetLife but the site does work well on iPhone's and Android's browser (in particular, Opera mobile browser), and works on Blackberry 6 and up. No, we're concentrating on providing the smartphone version of the IC site (which you can turn on and off using the button at the bottom of each page.) IC.3 has some further improvements to this. TBH getting apps approved in the Apple appstore is a pain, and maintaining them across the variety within the Android platform is a pain. Admin Remember: it's only a website | |
