Time to stop living in the past and move on with the future.
To do this...I am off to get my hair cut.
Not just a little bit though. My hair is now 3/4 of the way down my back. By 4pm it will be a spikey mess on the top of my head.
Hair does not maketh the woman!

Going to let the natural colour shine through too? I'm seriously considering having my locks chopped off but will probably do it when I set off on my travels early next year (house sale permitting). Am get fed up with all that blow drying palaver every day. Nearly has it done last week but thought I'd see the winter through, however you're a tough geordie and they don't need warmth!

Although I had to have mine cut for other reasons, I have to say I have found it quite liberating. Plus I really like it. Go for it....it will grow again if you hate it. Sweetiejar

Having done the same thing yesterday, I say you go girl! But just remember, any outfits you may have ready for our outtings over the next couple of weeks may look completely different with new hair (so you may have an excuse for more shopping!) Think of the saving in time and shampoo God's gift - but don't expect it instantly.
