As some of you may know there has been a bit of a shake up within the under 35s weekend drinkies munch. It has passed from the years of stewardship under IndelibleMarker to me (Tigger). As such I wanted to take this opportunity to thank IndelibleMarker for his years of hard work in keeping the munch running, finding and negotiating with venues and for providing us with a munch we have all enjoyed attending and being a part of.
I feel it should be said that He's done a good job and I'm sure many of us need to thank him because of the venue he has provided as I'm sure many of us have met friends and partners because we've attended his munch over the last few years.
This month saw him quietly pass the baton with no big last hurrah or hooha or celebration. Just a simple exchange of details and a gentleman's agreement for me to take over and keep it running.
So what does the future hold you may ask? Well at this stage we're looking for a new venue and we have a plan to move the munch to the second Saturday of the month. Next month the munch will remain at its current venue and on the same day of the month. So please pencil in to your diaries Saturday 19th November. The munch will be held in the upstairs bar of the Slug and Lettuce just off Regents Street, details to be posted on FetLife, IC and Twitter.
On the subject of Twitter we now have our own Twitter account @u35munch so please follow us and we'll post updates as and when news breaks.
Once again I want to thank IndelibleMarker from the under 35s munch community for his years of hard work and it's my hope he'll continue to attend this great munch.
