I also wouldn't call it bratting....but I certainly tease, goad, poke, flirt, joke around....whatever you want to call it :) It can be fun to have a session of this, with them teasing back and then suddenly flip it ;)

I have also pouted, fluttered my eye lashes and stamped my foot to get my way. If it works I can't see a problem with it..and I do like the contrat of being ultra girly one minute and then uber Domme the next.

Well what do you mean by winding up?

Because their is winding up in a fun sense or winding up in a mindfuck sense or winding up in a "bitchy" nasty sense.

Winding up specifically out of a play context, a tease, telling of a week-long visit to mother-in-law that isn't actually going to happen, or that all the chocolate has been eaten!

So a non-session mind fuck? Is that what we are really just saying here?

If so, then of course, Dom/mes can do that because human beings all over 'wind up' and tease their other partners and friends.

That is nothing like 'bratting' which is a misbehaving tactic on the part of a sub for attention and possibly punishment or may just be a part of their character they cannot control regardless of any sanction.

I can't see how a dominant brats, as 'bratting' arises out of a power imbalanced situation in bdsm.

Oh ive seen one or two Dominants brat when they don't get their own way. At the end of the day we are all human and have the potential to brat, some people are just more prone to it than others.

A dom can do anything he wants. That's the advantage of being a dom. If he wants to brat, or throw his toys out of the pram, then the poor, long-suffering subbie just has to put up with it ... ;)

*UPDATE* Model(s) for "how to" bondage photographs (and other bondage photographs) have now been found. Thank you to all who showed interest.

Yes he can. I have experienced lots of Doms bratting in the real sense of the word. Its not pretty. It comes across as a bit pathetic and I'm sure a sub doesnt want to see their dominant as 'pathetic', such a turn off. I am not talking about mind fuck here or goading, but being bratty and throwing toys outa the pram is what I usually call it, as did another. I dont think its a good thing in a Dom at all.

I think "flouncing" is the best term. Deeply unattractive and yet we're all human aren't we?

Still don't get it myself.

If a Dom/me isn't getting their own way in a D/s situation, then there is something wrong with that situation. For a Dom/me to feel there rightful due is not being given suggests there is a need to renegotiate the relationship as a sub should not have the power to make a Dom/me 'brat'. That really does sound arse about face to me.

If this 'bratting' occurs outside of a bdsm situation, then they are not a Dom/me having a tantrum, they are just a person having a tantrum and of course, we could all be capable of that in theory. I make this point as a Dom/me is only a Dom/me in relation to bdsm and consensual situations, in all other ones, we are just people.
