May i take a moment to thank @Cleric, for organising such a positive friendly, and very usefull event

after a little muddled confusion on my part over the venues name [i knew it was on canal st- and started with T] and a quick phone call to Cleric we arrived and went downstairs, the room was smaller than we expected but was clean and unclutterd and lots of smiley people were already getting roped, i sat and totally enjoyed watching all the lovely designs and patterns and ties.
pretty soon the room was getting rather crowded and a bit stuffy, especially for ladies of a certain age 
- so we decided to make some space, and go upstairs to meet our friends, cool me down and have a chat and a drink, which we did, and we got to enjoy the company of a few others who had the same idea.
eventually They who must be obeyed decided it was time to have some ropey fun, so back down stairs we went. I was delighted to see some wonderful person had found some fans to help cool the air by then, and we set ourselves up as near to the fans as we could get
For those of you who dont know me, im a little imobile on occasions, not very flexable,and not very good in warm places, so part of the rope learning expierience planned was to find simple yet comfortable positions that i could be put into, that i would be able to stay in, and be well in, who ever said you cant teach a old dog new tricks was wrong, beacause happily our aim was achieved and we thank those who helped, understood and generously shared their expierience and skills.
and we would also like to say a huge thank you to @XM00SE for the wonderfull Free pictures, capturing such intimate moments in time in a crowded room, with lighting that was probably a photographers nightmare, without intruding and without getting background folk in the shot, it showed a great skill, and we appreciate you giving up your time for us all very much.
