The pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

Usually have to kiss a few Leprechauns along the way though.

I ask for so little. Just let me rule you, and you can have everything that you want. Just fear me, love me, do as I say, and I will be your slave.

Sitting in a Nisa Micra, on the moors, watching a slug eat it's way thro lichen on a stone wall, actually wondering out loud how amazing that is and not being thought weird

(It was pissing it down, which is why we didn't get out of the car lol. Didn't stop the wildlife tho :) )

This thread and especially its predecessor have reminded me how very fortunate I am. I'd much rather have the love that I do have - mutually generous, committed, forgiving, caring, but not reinforced with intense sexuality/BDSM - than have lots of fun times but not enjoying such love. Very happy for those who have managed to find both in the same relationship.

Both what I most want and what most scares me.

Love is responsibility and it can be a trap. It can make you complacent about yourself and your independent identity. It can hold you above the water as the ship is sinking.

But a life devoid of love is no life at all.
