Went with a few friends on a memory lane trip. It hasn't changed that much I agree about the (lack of) seating. It doesn't make socialising that easy Was impressed with the bar - good service, real ale and decent prices Not so impressed with the stalls but that could be down to personal taste I guess Before you speak ask yourself: is it kind, is it true, is it necessary, does it improve upon the silence? | |

it was interesting to read that a few extra traders were there due to it being an xmas market, as i was going to enquire if all the traders listed were there? There was the main area at ground floor level by the bar, the two raised areas to the right and the two rooms up the stairs above the toilets.. anywhere i missed? | |

Well I thought it was really excellent yesterday! The quality of the stands were brilliant! Shillibeers had put on a Sunday roast of Turkey which was very nice and they were making these really nice PORNSTAR Cocktails which consisted of mango and vodka, and I couldn't quite work out what else was in it! But it was pretty brilliant. I had a couple of them. Which is a rare thing for me. We had so many stands in the newly opened, wood-panelled decorated boardroom and we had Lozz along, Wycked Wood, Dungeon E4 & Subspace Leathers in the boardroom, but next month it will be back to part stands + one half area for people to have lunch. It's just always busy at Christmas and not only are people shopping for presents, but lots of stands need support too at this time of the year. Then in the upper left tier we had rock a beauty, louise mckay, fabulously fetish, wicked waists, velda lauder, and dressed 2 digress, all brilliant! I had to get a shrug from velda. I slipped it on and knew I was going to wear it all the time. It was like a seamed black stocking for your arms! downstairs we had vixon, darkflame violet wands, affordable leather, spank, maxkane, oh you pretty thing, second coming, kinky merit badges, decadent media, belle epoque corsetry, twisted playtime, with trussed uk, Triple L latex, fantasies, ectomorph and babes n horny on the right tier, and jed pheonix, edgeplay, venus flytrap jewels, and all naughty fun for you of the upper right tier. so it was a pretty good looking fair yesterday, impressed by all the hard work the standholders do every month to produce so many new things. The first raffle was won by some visitors I haven't seen for a while and the kinky candy cane trussed uk made to go with the kinky cookie bouquet was very pretty. It was red and white swirly bamboo correctional cane. Plus we threw a flogger in, and the bondage kilt pin was won by a newbie, he was shocked he won! But it suited him. I am talking to Dungeon E4 about getting a brazier built for the courtyard. Whether I have to put a giant barrier around it to stop people from getting burned I suppose I do, I would rather just ban the people who are too silly not to know not to get too close to a fire. Regardless, I will think of something so we can have a fire and no one gets too close to it. It would be nice if we could have a fireplace outside too and the boardroom for indoor activites at the same time. By summer, the board room will be art gallery and other specialist activities. I think it would be quite atmospheric. (Don't worry I never really ban anyone from the event. I think there's been 3 people in 10 years who forgot their manners in the extreme and that was about it.) I don't know what the maths is on that. something like 0.0000113333333% or something. Everyone's always been lovely, really. The stands were very festive and all had several decorations around their stands, there were loads of christmas themed people dressed up for the fair in latex and costume with christmas themed outfits which was very nice. Everyone got a candy cane that had a ribbon printed with either season's beatings, london fetish fair or whipping you a merry christmas, london fetish fair. Some of the girls from the erotic writing scene both gave a 2 minute poetry reading before each raffle, with some s&m poems, which were very good. The 1st one was very good, but the 2nd lady got a bit flustered and that was a shame. Because it was a good poem! It can be stressful in an new place, but even when we turn the music down for an announcement; it's hard to think this room might contain a lot of my future friends. But it does. We have so many people coming back. Quite a few people were celebrating their 1 year and 6 month anniversaries as they met at the fetish fair and I was dead made up about that. I like kinky people to find each other real time. The animatronic gargoyle, I am going to hide him on you and get him to jump out once in a while! The rest of the basket of gingerbread vanished fairly quickly. There's a lot of guys out there who don't mind cock shaped gingerbread, as it's still gingerbread. I told them they were on the gingerbread downlow. Quite a lot of what I made didn't make it into the cookie bouquet as it said whore, slapper, slut and I wondered how well that would be received as a gift. Although I thought the transsexual gingerbread girl was the cutest and she did get included. You should have seen me on thursday trying to make a spanking, bench, st andrews cross and cage out of gingerbread and cadbury's fingers. It went all wrong, even with royal icing, you need 6 pairs of hands and lots of patience to sort that. I am going to try again just for the hell of it. I will have one built soon and will probably post pictures either on the fair site or my twitter account. So next month is the White magick event, I will be getting various magickal friends in maybe to do something that will be beneficial to every one that attends, plus I will have that sexy stripping card magican along all day. People have said to me about him, I don;t normally like male burlesque, but he's brilliant! He's fast with the card magic too and it's usually pretty smutty, which is hyseterical. Bondage engineering did a really great inverted suspension last night with bratty in a really cool leather mermaid style costume, and they wrapped her up with tinsel and she rang a hand bell to be a functional christmas bondage decoration. Very good Bondage Engineering, they never disapppoint! The erotic high peddling stripping unicylist Paisley X was awesome. Everyone said it was the best cabaret at the after party ever. Thanks to the two gents who helped her up on her 8 foot high unicycle. I think we were all shocked when all the ben wah balls came out at the end. That's quite an acheivement, that, and unicycling in fetishy-heeled boots! I will have pics up in the gallery in a few days. Some of the pics are very steampunk. The top hat, the fetish gear, the 8 foot high unicyle. Very entertaining. Thanks to everyone who came along to make it such a fantastic atmosphere and I am so glad so mnay of you enjoyed the mixture of industrial, goth, indie, dance, electro and old school, pop music. It was fun putting together the two separate soundscapes for the day and evening. It's amazing how much action goes on at the after party now, you know you are all so decadent that I have to tell the performers now that they've got competition and that their performances have to seriously bring it! I will be updating the faq pages so you know exactly how to get to the garage (visit the front gate first: you don't need to park to do that, just pull up beside the gate). See you January 8th!
