Hi! I am going back to Shillibeers to see if they can get the kitchen open for longer, it was sheerly the fact that it's our 2nd month there that the kitchen ran out. I am sure I can persuade them to keep the kitchen on until 7 or 8p.m. I had a long, long conversation with the film crew about background shots and told them it's of life or death importance not to use any background shots, and in their own candid, intelligent way they came back with basically, we are not going to be assholes about it and film anyone who doesn't want to be filmed or portray the event badly. We; all know that the denizens of the fetish scene is a huge place when it comes to interests and diversity. I think we still need to be seen as an intelligent, diverse society from time to time. I am very keen to help pull the perception of the fetish scene away from the pulp fiction style "slave in a box" (Although I like a slave ina box '] )stereotype and be accepted for the cool, intelligent, adventurous sexy things that reside in in Kinkworld. I didn't feel the production team were stupid about it, or I wouldn't have gone ahead with it. Most of the interviews were done in the boardroom, which was unoccupied. alot of the filming was pre arranged and the standholders were filmed up against their stands.
