Yesterdays weather was so very different to the week before when I wandered through the grass in my bare feet with the sun filling me with warmth. Instead it was dark and raining all day even though it wasnt particularly cold. We went to Manchester, Master and myself to see an exhibition in the Art Gallery of works by Ford Maddox Brown. We had to pay to enter the exhibition area which I thought was a bit much, at £8 each it wasnt cheap but we decided that it was worth it in the end. I bought Master a book featuring the Artist's works and I will keep it for him till Christmas to put with his other pressies.
After looking around the exhibition we had a walk through China Town and decided to have a Chinese buffet for lunch.We ate in a cafe kind of place and the food was good although I was disappointed that they didnt serve my favourite shredded duck and pancakes.The machine full of Mr Whippy ice cream made up for it especially when I had it over hot banana fritters...yum.
We then wandered around Manchester and looked at various shops, went into the Arndale centre to escape the rain for a while and had coffee and cakes in St Annes Church, again to escape the rain served by nice friendly ladies 
Back at mine late afternoon and we had a brew and cuddled up together on the sofa for a while. Masters back was hurting him a lot and my tendinitis was playing up so by the time we had got back to mine we were both in quite a lot of pain and it wasnt the good type either although as far as Master is concerned NO pain is good !
I watched Strictly later on by myself and then settled down to watch a film before I went to bed. Stayed home mostly today, did some washing and ironing and popped to the supermarket. Made paprika chicken for tea and now Im just waiting for the Strictly results show to start in five minutes and then Im probably gonna watch a film with my son.
