Owwwch! I've see a couple of videos of branding. Has to be the most painful thing ever. Lifetime marking, surely?

Another thing on my 'to do' list. Looking forward to seeing the replies. Especially from people who've done this or had it done. If there's no chocolate in heaven ~ i ain't going!

I can understand why people do this/would want to do it and kudos to them, but it is one of the few things I would never want to give or receive - even the thought of being branded is scary for me and not in a good way, lol.

It's something i'd be very interested in doing(with Sir only) and as it would most likely be a permanent mark it would have to be something i could live with and in a place it wouldn't immediately raise questions in the everyday world. In time..who knows. Lots of things left to experiment with. jules.x

Been there, done it, got the T-shit, so to speak. It is wonderfully intense, and has already been discussed on the Modified Bodies Forum if you want more details. Owner of The Croppery Dungeon and Breakfast. Organises The St Leonards munch.

It's something I would consider in a life partnership - as a sign of commitment and for the experience.

Branding a slave with a real branding iron as a formal sign of ownership is just mind-blowing. I had a company make me one to my own design.

I doubt I would accept it even in a marriage for life with a dominant husband because things change and people regret permanent marks.

You might, but not everyone regrets permanant marks. I for one consider them a reminder of a place and time during my life. Nothing to regret! Non Je Ne Regrette Rien

The notion that it's a formal sign of ownership is stupidity in its highest form. Relationships breakdown no matter how strong and the poor bitch is left with a permanent reminder to take to her new boyfriend/dom. They say love is blind nobody mentions how stupid it is as well. Self-expression is the dominant necessity of human nature Edited 9 Oct 11, 11:42 AM by scotchmystery
