I would agree with this.
When I started doing SM with others (scarily around 18 years ago  ) play was just as extreme as it is now, for those who wanted that. In fact I remember there being less acceptance back then of submissives who weren't very masochistic...
And I certainly don't think people engage in extreme play because it's trendy.
I think people just play as they want to play.
And having a Daddy is the best thing ever!

Forgive me if I am wrong but, given the incorrect use of quotation, I am having to guess that the above is your post/reply. However may I bring your attention to a few points ?
Say's ? .. I believe that should be says.
Burried ? .. I believe that should be buried.
Microbe ? .. That is a microscopic living organism. I do not believe it is commonly used to describe levels of pride. Maybe you were thinking of modicum ? Or if you did want to use the reference to microscopic then the correct word to have used in this instance would have been microbial or possibly even microbic.
And let me get this right ? You are within your rights to "slag off" someone for incorrect spelling and/or use of grammar ? Yet your comments cannot be subject to the same levels of criticism ?
To save you reaching for your dictionary the word you would be looking for here is hypocrisy.

Actually the inability to visualize the difference between to/too/two or there/their, etc is very much a symptom of dyslexia. i had edited my post i realised i was being overly personaly to which and of i apologise that you picked up the thread prior to my editing,,
However there are a great many reason's as to why any person may have difficulties with spelling grammer etc
personaly recovering from a severe head head injury to which letters and numbers were just shapes
within the aspect of your post i mentain in the first instance was bloody rude and ill thought out,
also i would suggest to you quite strongly that a continuance of posting's by yourself ( as in the manner of your first post this thread )your setting yourself at odd's against people use of language
you will only allianate you from the 'prize' you want from here
and thus we end tonight's lesson

Yes, I stand corrected, it should say 'buried', should have taken my own advice and read it before posting. However, 'Microbe' and 'Say's', are correct pronunciations for/in the direction that they were directed at!!

All I've learn't from you, is that you've got 2 heads ( seen that on the Discovery channel ), can't spell, you see numbers and letters as 'shapes', and that you're sending me a cod?? I usually have a Haddock, but fuck it, if you're sending me a cod free of charge, I'll give it a whirl. I also insist on a SMALL portion of chips, why do they always give you so many!!!! I am sorry to be pedantic but criticism of others then making similar errors is very much a pet peeve of mine for the moment you do so you open yourself up to judgement. Especially when such criticisms are done in such an insulting tone with no knowledge of the person's possible difficulties or background.
Would you have spoken to someone the same way face to face if they had a bad stutter ? Or if they struggled to pronounce long or complicated words due to a learning difficulty ? Any on-line spell checker is only as good as the input into it and, if the person typing struggles with written communication, it is not always the "fix all" so many people depend on it to be.
But I have already derailed this thread far too much so for that I apologise to @Sir_Anthony and will leave it to get back to those wishing to discuss his OP.
