... write a raspberry?
I often have this overwhelming urge to blow a raspberry at some threads, posts, comments on here but there aren't really any letter combinations that convey a raspberry very well

Calvin & Hobbes did it very well. I think it goes thbpbpthpt.
This is frighteningly informative http://www.thesneeze.com/mt-archives/000339.php Not huffy or stuffy, nor tiny or tall,
But fluffy, just fluffy, with no brains at all.

I think it's a 'Thwurrrrrp', that is the closest I can get. As far as I can tell, there is no 'correct' way to do it. x Monosyllabic has five syllables.

Or instead of, or better still in addition to the much-requested 'LIKE' button.. A 'RASPBERRY' button, linked to the appropriate sound. It's an ascending note, after all. Something a pulled string on a musical instrument might get closer to than a word, however well written. Bleurfleurwwuuppfft..

Hello fellow traveller. I see you're on the same quest as I am. I have pondered this question for quite some time now, and the best I could come up with was "phthphthppp!!".
Well, at least I can now sleep better at night knowing I'm not the *only* one who thinks about these things ~Twistee~ Everything is better with a twist

Oh, I'm loving some of these
I think I'm liking @pinnie's rasp the best although I've no idea how he blows a raspberry because mine sound nothing like that! lol. And I think I'd probably have trouble remembering how to spell that ... I shall have to write it on a post-it and keep it on my desk In the beginning god created man ... that was his first mistake ... everybody knows the lady should always come first |
