Not so much a fetish but my kink is entirely a result of my childhood.

Without going into too much details , as I have been there so many times over the years, my fetish is totally related to being spanked as a child.

Often one of the routes that individuals follow and get into spanking/bdsm.But there are many other ways. The bdsm side came about when I was influenced as a teenager via the antics of miss whiplash but the ab side I an trace back to early memory of crawling around in a nappy and plastic pants.

Full respect to you for that , because I dont even remember that far back crawling about in nappies of plastic pants.

One thing I do remember very vividly is what we use to call going for a ride on my Aunts slipper. This was in full view of every adult, who cleary knew no better. She would practically stick her foot in between my legs and lift me up and down.

All this is as far as I can remember, But I do remember something like that happening, which goes to show how niave that generation really was.

Yes,very naive and not like the generation growing up now who know far too much.See what @BlackOrchid has written in this thread.

So does this mean my son will or won't grow up wanting to walk on all fours, wear a collar and be called, "good dog spike". ?

I'd just like to know so I can prepare myself for the possibility of Jeremy Kyle in years to come.

Throughout the dialogue in this thread you've chosen to ignore, misquote, attempt to belittle without addressing the points and take offence where none was intended...

I have not attempted to do any of those things, appologies if it comes across that way

especially if you're going to support your argument with the use of time machines and locking people up in boxes for years without external stimuli...

I really don't think you get this part though. My point is intentionally ott because it would be the only way to actually find the answer, my point being that society is always there so it is very difficult to really state its importance, there are real world events, such as the boy raised by wolves, which teach us social norms and values are crucial and human beings are very adaptable. My argument is not being supported by a time machine or a box it is simply talking about the impossibility of being definitive. In addition it is impossible to say which specific events had the most impact without taking all other events away. So the whole 'this happened which made me like this...' is a bit tricky too.

I have not quoted all of your words here, I very rarely do, I tend to reply to the parts that interest me or that I feel could continue the debate further rather than simply quoting to say 'I agree' or 'i disagree' which to me adds nothing of substance. I guess to answer your question, that is my debating style.

Apologies accepted; please accept mine back.

I see and respect the extremity of the point you're making; but I must point out I think we came to a rough agreement around page 3, as you must no doubt already know. :) x

No, but you have compared being kinky with being gay when there is no reason to suppose that they might be comparable. You then use this comparison to try and support your view that kink is 'natural' and that doubting this view is akin to suggesting that gay people are 'unnatural'.

Meh! :-D

It's about how you see kink as a sexual orientation.

Sexual orientation is natural. As is being gay. As is being kinky. As is being whatever the fuck flicks your switch sexually.

They're both two examples of sexual orientation as far as I can see.

Kink is natural. So's being gay.

Which is totally wrong and for a start, there is a gay fetish scene but not every gay guy is into it.Kink is a human extension of sexuality. If it was "natural" then monkeys would be into bondage. As if!

What about monkeys and swans being into homosexuality? Is that unnatural? In fact, what about...nah, forget it...I've no argument with you. Unless it's about cuckoo clocks. Then you'd win. Good day.
