We all I'm sure know people who gain great pleasure from psychological and emotional sadism. Sadly, I had the misfortune of being on the receiving end and couldn't cope. I had pushed some of the memories to the back of my mind but Ash's words stirred the demons from their slumber. After some insight from a dear friend it has been pointed out that it is actually fear of rejection that I have a personal problem with.
So now the veil has been lifted I feel able to face the demons head on. Thank you Ash - I owe you one.
