Has anyone suffered the same problem as I did last night? Went to a fetish event and while strapped to the A frame getting flogged with two floggers at once ( which I love!)I started to shiver. Now it's was not the warmest of venues and, OK I admit I was not wearing much, but I could not stop shaking. Every one of my major muscles was doing it! Master says my left bum cheek was amazing! Normally when it's warm I don't get these shivers,I relax into it and float off to where I really don't feel the blows. Only when I play and it's cold do I suffer from this and the shivering stops me from floating off so I feel every whack! Any thoughts out there? Lucky

I always feel very cold immediately after play and I know several other people who suffer the same reaction. Because my Boss knows it will happen, he is always prepared for it and a permanent fixture in our toybag is my "subby blanket"- a large fleece throw that is big enough to wrap round me twice! Getting cold during the actual play has also happened to me in the past but that has always been the result of the venue itself not being warm enough. For me though, being cold has a very dampening effect and makes it impossible for me to get into the right head-space so I think it's just a case of making sure you are going to be warm enough before you start, stop the play if you do get cold and have the subby blanket on hand (along with lots of cuddles) for the aftermath. | |

Afterwards I need to wrapped in Masters warm arms. Coming down after all that adrenalin is a shock to the body. I love the idea of a subby blanket. Edited 14 Feb 05, 4:35 PM by melody_A |
