Good news to share with you all- 
for those who did and those who dont know til now about @sirram s recent running achievements, He has been losing weight and building up stamina, to compete in 5k and then 10k races, each race HE has improved and beaten his personal best time, steadly building up, His Drive/Focus/Ambition has been to run in the 2012 VIRGIN LONDON MARATHON
He has received a letter today confirming his place/number in the race
extra special as its OLYMPIC year, and will be run on the OLYMPIC route
and also because @sirram hasnt run a full marathon for over 25 years- and this will be run one month after his 50th Birthday !
counting down 6 months and 22 days...to go
im so proud of all he has achieved so far, and am looking forward, with great excitement to the BIG RACE DAY what a amazing way to embrace and celebrate His 50th birthday !

Awesome just awesome I hope we can sponcer him? I for one will chuck a few quid into a charity of his choice. I know it takes determination I'm doing 16-20km's a night on me E-bike that's 10 miles plus in old money and that's after giving up the cigs and I've also gone tea total for the rest of the year to assist in my target of 3-4 stone off by 2012.
