Recently I was in the market for a new mobile phone and so contacted my provider and acquired aforementioned portable communication device. Dare I say the phone is a Samsung Galaxy S2 and does everything I need nicely.....Or so I though.

The first one I got kept discharging the battery too quick - so on my request a new one was dispatched.

The second one had problems with the bluetooth interface - a new one was thus dispatched.

The third one had the same problem so a new one was dispatched to me yesterday.

So far so good but I wonder how long it will be before this one goes wrong - or am I tempting fate by thinking such?

Twelve months and one day - and you're locked into an 18 month contract!

Hmmmmm call me cynical but something in that. My current developed its first problem about a week out of guarantee.

Solved since though. So far so good.

God's gift - but don't expect it instantly.

My Galaxy S2 is currently "in the shop" for the 2nd time in 2 months. First time was a speaker problem, and now the screen looks to have developed a fault. Not a happy bunny at the moment, I feel a letter to Samsung may b in order, for no other reason than to express my disappointment with what should be a top-of-the-line handset.

When it works, it's amazing, it does everything I need/want, but these problems are killing me.

I would still say the Nokia N97 was the worst smart phone ever!.

I had four of these blighters in as many weeks before they offered me the HTC Desire which happens to still be my current handset and it truly is awesome,

Locked into - such tosh. This is the last attempt my provider gets then they will heed to my demands or I will deprive them of cheese.

When I was looking into replacing my stolen Samsung Wave I was torn between paying the extra for the 2 over the original Galaxy. I looked up the spec and went for the Original Galaxy as there was not that much difference for the extra £200 they wanted for it...and have not had one problem with it.

Wasn't the original Galaxy the one without the camera?
