The munch is held at this pub in the centre of Bath, and starts at 7.30pm. The pub offers a good selection of food, and parking can be found towards the top of Broad Street through the archway on the left just before the sign that says 'ASK'. Parking is free after 8pm. There is also parking at the Podium on Walcot Street. We can be found in the side room to the right of the rear entrance on Walcot Street. If you're coming into the front entrance on Broad Street, go to the left of the bar, and walk all the way down to the end until you see a doorway on your left. We'll be the group sitting by the window with a Bath A-Z prominently placed on one of the tables. The munch is held in a public bar. As it is shared with the pub's regular clientelle, we ask that you dress and behave accordingly. With this in mind:
Looking forward to seeing you there! Edited Thu 15 Sep 11, 8:23 PM by BathMunch

It's years since I went in to that pub!! I might try to pop along for a while. @The_Coven / @The_Problem_Page, you might give the advice that someone needs. / I want the "Moon on a stick and the Stars suspended from bunting". / So many haystacks, so few needles! / Sorry is a meaningless word unless it is demonstrated, via actions or a change in behaviour, that it is meant.

I really liked their refurbishment. Great to have you attend! See you there. Words and attitudes can be painful weapons in the modern world, which is why a knight in shining armor exercises mercy in his or her dealings with others, creating a sense of peace and community, rather than engendering hostility and antagonism. Yes indeed. The munch will be every third Tuesday of the month. There's quite a lot going on at the beginning of the month in the Bath/Bristol area, so we figured that having a munch later in the month would work out better (unless you're under 35, in which case there is the Bristol U35s Munch on the last Saturday). ~Twistee~ Everything is better with a twist

Big thanks to everyone who battled their way through torrential drizzle to make it to the munch tonight. Great company and sparkling conversation, although I'm not sure if Crochet Mummification and Germplay will really catch on as fetishes. Around here, though, you never can quite tell. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon. Next Bath Munch will be Tuesday 18th October. Same time, same place. ~Twistee~ Everything is better with a twist

Enjoyed it very much, thanks again for hosting it. And yes, there really was a guy there who loved Herpes. From a microbiological standpoint, you understand. Interesting mix of people. |
