Who's There?Kate is a caring but death-obsessed Domme with a taste for rope, pegging, and vulnerable men who can soil themselves on demand. Luke (aka Luciana) is a confrontational gay submissive whose room looks like 'the Holocaust on Viagra'. These two friends share a London squat, sheltering from a vanilla world in which everything seems to be falling apart. When strait-laced Mark blunders into their lives with a dark secret, these three lonely people unravel a tale of desire, intolerance - and the lost souls who wait on the far side of the door. This is a one-off rehearsed reading – NOT a full production - with a short session afterwards for audience feedback that will help shape the next stage. I would particularly welcome the thoughts of any IC members who are able to come along. Tickets £3 - more details here Here's what critics said about my BDSM drama Little Deaths, which was staged last year at the Alma Tavern, Bristol, and Upstairs at the Gatehouse, London: “Beautifully played . . . gripped me from start to finish” - Bristol Evening Post, 9 out of 10 “This is suburban S&M taken to painful extremes - but, far from being some gothic melodrama of predator and prey, it's a softly realistic (and thus more shocking) account of the powerful struggles, compromises, epiphanies and loneliness of life on the other side of love.” - Venue magazine S Edited Sun 25 Sep 11, 12:00 PM by just4show

Before Who's There?, my postwar drama The Darkroom gets a full production at the Alma Tavern Theatre, Clifton, Bristol, from October 4-15. Apart from the above reference - and one to being spanked with The Times crossword - there few BDSM elements. But I hope that IC members who have enjoyed my previous work might want to give it a look. If so, ticket details are here:

Last years offering at the Alma Tavern was amazing. It was theatre at its best "raw" I will do my utmost to come and see this, even as a read through I will look forward to it immensely. Tallulah Do you have to be the ice queen intellectual OR the slut-whore? Isn't there some way to be both?
