psst 'tis i zaisan'
So... what do you think to the new nick?
I live in the fens... its sassy, its a pun!
it implies competence and stability and i love it!
sooo.. goodbye to the nick of zaisan, you have served me well, even if i didn't know how to pronounce it myself!
The end of the chapter ruled by {wl} in my life is now finally closed.
thank you Olias
Onwards and upwards!

On a side issue, i note the postman has not arrived today, one assumes this to be a strategic manouvre on his part, he knows he is going to be damn busy on Monday on his journey to my house. So good on him for conserving his energy. Shall i be kind and send him a forklift to collect my post?
Once again this valentines day will see me spending some of the day trying to pursuade mum and dad to tell me who sent me the valentines card when i was 9 years old. It made my life at the time, and they still won't tell me who sent it! it was obviously orchestrated by them, but i want to know who wrote it! one of these secrets that if they take to their deathbeds i will live my life wondering. 21 years on and its a greater mystery to me than how Santa squeezed through the hole at the bottom of the gas fire.
I note now, how old i am getting, and how fast time moves. My 6 year old this year wanted to send valentines cards out! so out i went to purchase these, (tesco value valentines cards are quite a good deal! at 48p each) 5 i had to buy, (you should have seen the disgusted stare from the woman on the til) and send to various different women in his life. Oh how he takes after my ex lol
Bless him, watching him write them out with such care, kissing each one inside, and stating... 'thats for my beautiful girlfriend, ..what was her name again?' had to laugh.
I fear too soon i will be doing the dragon mother-in-law impressions to scare off the unsuitables.

Yes, but the pronunciation raises its head though...
fen is fine... but 'fatale'.... is that fahtahl, or fat-ale, or fatal-ee, or perhaps fa-tale? Or even fah-tarl?
(Yeah, I do know.. just being awkward. It's a nice nick)

Welcome fen fatale smiles...
Jezzebelle Before any word leaves your mouth it must be approved by the three gatekeepers.
The first will ask: "Is it true?" The second will ask: "Is it necessary?" The third will ask: "Is it kind?"

It is a good name and I like it. I changed my real name about eight years ago because my birth name did not suit. This means that I am known by three different names, my nick which members of the community call me, my new name which my son, Dom colleagues and friends, know me by and my birthname which my mother and older ralatives call me.
It makes answering the phone fun!

I tried that- I wouldn't advise it. All the nice ones they bring home (those that are not the same age as you, or have social problems) soon disappear and you are left with the ones that want to kiss you as thier mother in law on first meeting... ugh.
Ah you have all this to come, and it comes so quickly. I remember the first time I saw my son holding hands with a new partner. No-one prepares you for that; the feeling of loss and joy at the same time was amazing.
I sometimes miss my son when he was four, exploring the world for the first time, at seven, at nine (but never at 13 - he was horrid then!)
Hugs fen_fatale and welcome to your new nick

I like it. It suits you and it's got a nice, happy sound to it (probably because I can actually pronounce it!).
Nice to see things looking up for you... keep it up
