If certain people,who happen to be Muslims,would stop sending mind-destroying drugs to the West; if only such countries did not have oil in the ground; if only such countries did not sit astride access for bigger countries to the sea;if the Crusades had never occurred;if Saladin and Richard Lionheart had not been such good generals;if democracy was not seen as a threat by people in power;if Christ and Mohammed had not been born;if 9/11 and 7/7 and all the other murders had not occurred;if people stayed in their countries of origin and did not immigrate(CUE FOR A TRENDY RESPONSE,PICKING THIS BIT OUT);if if if if....."If ifs and ans were pots and pans there'd be no need for tinkers"(St Joan,GBS). Like it or not, whether she is English or not, she has a point about how muslims have been treated. If you don't like what you see, what you read, then just move along. Life is too short to waste it arguing about the little things. | |
