I would love to go and see this. But I would have to go alone since hubby has no interest in going.

But I might just anyway.

The film?

The theatre production is excellent.

being a massive horse lover and having seen the previews I worry that I would find it just much too hard...:-(

nooo.not the film; the theatre production.

It is done with puppets, huge great wonderful contraptions, no horses were hurt in the production of the play. It would mean a trip to London since it is playing there and has been for quite some time. I asked if he wanted to go see it, and he said "not my kind of thing".

Well, it is my kind of thing and I will go on my own if it means I get to see it.

Do not miss the opportunity to go, it is sooooooooo amazing I have seen it twice.

As it starts and the bird puppets swoop over the audience you think, Oh dear I am not sure about this, but it suddenly comes alive. Yes it is about horses but also so much more; relationships, the horror of war, human frailty and the beauty and bravery of the horses that went to war.

You must go and see it.

Just my opinion. T x

I completely agree with this - it is just not to be missed. It is all so beautifully observed from the horse point of view too - every flick of the ear, arch of the neck, nicker and whinney is exactly as it is with a real horse (well, OK, they haven't quite got the canter sequence of the legs right, but I'm not complaining!!).

Yes you will probably cry, so take your tissues, but you'll laugh too - look out for the goose!

Do go, you won't regret it, it is totally amazing.
