Sometimes being poly.. even a bit poly ... sucks.

For one thing it means that you carry in your heart a fair number of relationships at any one time which means you share a lot of peoples concerns as well as their joys.

On a more mundane level it also means that you get dumped... some times for the topsey turvy reason that someone feels so much for you, and you for them, that it just cannot carry on.

life sometimes.. really sucks...

It has taken me almost a year and a half of a poly battle field in my head, with a lot of communication and stuff, it can work, sometimes it seems not worth it for the hurt but *hallmark moment* if you love someone then its worth the battle..sometimes though you need to realign what you want from each other..

Hope it works out for you both, or you get to a good place together as friends if you can

I'm not sure I'm cut out for poly, certainly I've steered away from already established situations. Hope you pick yourself up and dust yourself down soonish.x

Sorry to hear you are hurting in a not-good way.

Being poly does, I agree, multiply the emotional roller coaster of life. Many many sleepless nights as well as all the wonderful ones....its pretty much guaranteed.

Oh Yes....and the sun will set for YOU.
