To summer.
The leaves are turning and falling already and there's a definite autumnal feel to the mornings now. Plus the big spiders are starting to appear inside again.
Hopefully though we've not seen the last of some decent weather.

But I like Autumn...the colours from the leaves are amazing, it is cooler...I dont like too hot. The only down side for me is that winter will follow and somewhere in that will be snow! Though I still want to do a naked snow angel I do hate being cold. jxx "Take me from this earth an endless night- this, the end of life. Willingly, Autumn is my absolute favorite month, all warm and glowy building to stormy and dark then marching toward the nice bit of winter and Christmas YAY! Once we are in January though I find I've had enough of the winter.

I'm quite looking forward to the weather changing, my Granddaughter has yet to know just how much fun she can have wearing her wellies, or is that how much fun we can have wearing our wellies? My cat loves the spiders, he plays with them for ages, until the kitten comes along and eats them.
I can't hear you when you shout.

I think I missed the summer this year, lol. I love Autumn though all the beautiful colours and mild breezes, the air feels somehow softer.
The geese flew over here too in the last few days but it will be brill when they fly back as it means the lighter nights will be back I'm angelic, the horns are only to keep my halo straight, honest

That's fascinating. I'd never heard about big spiders coming inside as a sign of Autumn coming before. I've had some dobbers in the house this week. It's the little things Dude, the little things.

Which month specifically is Autumn, btw? Me, I'm a summer girl - pretty dresses and bare feet and warm shoulders from the sun. So while the rest of you lot are looking forward to crisp mornings and cardigans, I'm mourning the end of the long days and saying good bye for now to my flip flops ... Primula is NOT cheese. Fuck, it's not even FOOD. |
