This has come about after last night I had a client who first off turned up an hour late(He did phone to say he was going to be late and as he was my last client I said it was OK as I was dressed in a pvc catsuit as he'd requested so thought I'd just as well still do the session)he turned up and I showed him the schoolroom. He was very impressed and turned on by the way I looked and even said if things go well he'll be booking regular sessions with me. He then asked if I wanted some canes he had that he nowhere to keep at home. As I've lost a cane and had one broke on me recently I said OK if he really didn't want them. He told me they were in the car along with a strap-on he wanted me to use on him and he'd go get them. I waited for him to return but he never did!! Sadly I didn't get a deposit.

I've had lots of time wasters on the phone before but this is the first time somebody has actually turned up and not gone through with a session and I was wondering has anyone else here ever had similar experiences?

I had one nervous new guy who did a runner and called me five minutes later to apologise and another who just changed his mind half-way through. It's no different from any other service cancellation and while it's a nuisance if they haven't paid anything it needn't reflect on you.

Back in the day yes, I even had some turn up and say they wanted to have a look around!

In time, you will weedle out these dicks.

I only dress beforehand for regulars, I usually greet in My civvies.

You scared Him off nina. Another fantasist. These people r a nuisance. Surely the best part of any session is the meet and greet, the introduction. The wondering of what is going to happen etc. I could understand him running off if u were like 30st or similar. But as you look exactly like u do in ur pictures. He is purely a waste of space. X

One red flag there -it's in my profession too -if things go well there will be a lot more work afterwards. I've heard it a few times-and it never comes true!

It seems you've been the victim here as you've lost out but I have respect for you in that you have just reported the facts as they are and not launched into an attack on the boards.

Oh god yeah. One bloke travelled from Scotland to sit outside my premises, call me, and then say he couldn't go through with it. He then drove the 4 hours home.

Never, ever take it personally if all your other clients are happy.

First-time nerves should never be underestimated as a cause of no-show candidates, but that's positively bizarre behaviour !

As you sensibly seem to rationalise , yet another occupational hazard .

I'd agree a bit odd

Having said that I well remember visiting a domme many years ago (pre Internet days so less chance for research). When I got there it soon became very apparent to me, in the pre session chat, that we just weren't going to gel

So I had the choice of going through with something that I was pretty sure wasn't going to work or leaving it

I told her that it didn't feel right - no slur on her at all - and that I'd like to leave. I got a right earful from her (and her maid). Fair enough, I guess, and they insisted I paid something for wasting their time

I got out of there pretty quickly

As others have said, Nina, don't take it personally. He might have got cold feet or just decided, like I did that time, that you weren't just the right person for him

I would say that 50% of their session enjoyment is in the anticipation therefore it isn't so odd that the occasional guy will be happy enough without fulfilling the actual booking.
