Not sure if this is in the right place but I'm sure admin will move it if it isn't Three ladies who are involved in poly relationships are being interviewed on ITV's This Morning at the moment. They have wheeled the old goat Denise Robertson out and she's just not listening to anything they have to say, how can they have this woman as an 'agony aunt' when she is so ridiculously judgemental and closed minded. Other than that the three ladies are coming across marvellously well, though I do feel very sorry for them having to deal with Denise and that moron Eamon. They are now asking for people to tweet or facebook their opinions on the subject in so fingers crossed they may show some replies from other poly people "You're so cute when you're frustrated, dear Yeah, you're so cute when you're sedated, oh dear" - Interpol - PDA

It's a good job I had already finished breakfast, or my TV would be covered in muesli about now. What a bigoted puritan Denise Robertson is. Manchester FAB Munch

I thought that the three interviewees behaved with a great deal of dignity and poise. They came over very well, despite Denise Robertson's hostility, who seemed to be demonstrating the very opposite of how you would hope that an agony aunt should behave. Eamonn was simultaneously up his own arse and out of his depth, but that's just his way of doing things.

A very interesting interview. Thought provoking. Denise et al just didn't want to know though and that came accross loud and clear. I would have liked to have heard more from the 3 girls just from the perspective of being able to better understand the concept and how it works.

I watched the clip last night. The agony aunt was an awful cow about it. I thought at least the guy was trying to make an effort to understand, though there is always going to be an element of good cop/bad cop theatre to these kinds of interviews. Yes, more detail would have been good, but as they say, telly is like writing with a 10-foot pencil, especially a show like that. I thought the three women behaved with incredible calm and dignity throughout. Well done.

If you missed it, it's now online. http://www.itv.com/this-morning/life/polyamory-d... I love the delicate shadow of she wanting me to be.

Goodness me I am amazed people like Denise Robertson still exist - I thought they had become extinct years ago. But then knowing how media companies work they are always going to bring in someone with extreme views (pretending they are the norm and no-one buys that bullshit these days except in large swathes of the US) to flush out some controversy. At the very best it gives you some positive exposure. I'm pretty ancient myself and have found people like Denise somewhat desperate, troubled and threatened themselves all my life (people cannot stand innovation and change until their lifestyles are proven to be a sham and their cosy comfort zone systems starts to shut down for them - until then, they will defend their outmoded mores to the end) but, hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Well done! Edited 26 Aug 11, 7:59 AM by DDDDom
