For the first time ever I have had a car pass it's MOT first time!

My house sale appears to be going through which takes the move to Portugal one step closer.

My house is clean as a whistle!

And my wonderful man is taking me on an epic road trip to southern France for ten days leaving Thursday evening. We will mostly be exploring Carcassonne, Beziers, Narbonne and the like.

Life is as sweet as a nut!

Whoop! Indeed.:) Everything seems to be coming up roses...good for you.:)

I don't think I've evr had a car get straight through an MOT.

In another life, about a hundred years ago, me and a mate lost a car outside the walls of Carcassone....Well, we thought we had, until, after ages of running about immitating headless chickens, we realised that there are two walls and we were looking outside the inner one rather than the outer.

Good luck.:)

Women are from Reigate, men are from Reigate. Not all of them of course, that would be silly, some are from Pimlico, or Cleethorpes, or that little village in Derbyshire who's name eludes me, or Bridlington, or Weston Super Mare, or Clac....

Only had one car fail an MOT. When I was 18 I bought a Ford Cortina MKII for £25. Despite my handiwork it failed due to according to the mechanic 'a larger proportion of rust than metal on the subframe'.

I've only ever had hand-me-downs and cheapy make do's. Oddly this was bought as a bit of fun, was from a backstreet garage and pretty cheap but it's been the best car ever. I have no mechanical skills these days so I was chuffed to bits!
