Could you correct this please. The venue is directly underneath the Metropole, there's a staircase to the left down to the basement then you'll find big glass doors. Walk straight through the main bar [closed till 11pm] and head to the VIP area at the back past the beds!

Nothing to do with me guv'nor - the information at the top of this thread (including more info from you just added, for which many thanks) is correct. For avoidance of doubt, it is down the stairs here. Doors open at 8.30 not 9
