Good suggestion, the icons are not the prettiest or very artistic, but a small one incorporated into a larger tattoo would be subtle.

True of a large percentage of the population apart from those who have them done when drunk or off their heads for a laugh because their mates egged them on

, but OP was saying about sub tattoos and I was replying directly to that.

I found a tattoo about 5 years ago that means love, life and loyalty, which is what I bring to a D/s relationship.

Google is a good place to search but some tattoo sites wont allow you to copy their images off the site.

I had a small kneeling fairy, face forward, with discreet ropes around her midrift, with a small BDSM symbol abover her.

The tattooist hand drew her and put soap bubbles around her.

The ropes are beautifully discreet.

So far, the only vanilla person to spot them has been my Mum.
