The MK or newport Pagnell meet is a monthly affair. You would be welcome to come along on your own. No expactations or pressure to do anything other than sit and have a chat. There is no need to feel aprehensive or worried about attending. I think most would agree all fears, worries are forgotten within minutes of entering. It is low key and friendly without pressure. Play happens upstairs IF you want to. The bar remains the hot bed of conversation. Tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol are all available. Feel free to bring your own nibbles. A quick tour and introduction can be arranged, consider it a meet and greet service. I am always ready to make a fool of myself by failing to remember peoples names doing this. Take a deep breath and open the door. We are all friendly inside. The pleasure, I fear, will be all mine. |
