Yes, I'm off to a chilli festival today. All manner of chilliness! There will be stalls selling sauces and seeds and chutneys and choking!! Woo and hoo. I wonder if any will be selling respirators...
Meeting a couple of mates there - a chilli eating competition is taking place in the afternoon. I SO want to participate, however we only recently learnt that applications were via email, and we missed the deadline. Bugger. That won't stop us trying to wangle our way in to it though!
Nagas. There will be Nagas. Evil they are! First time I chewed on a fresh Naga I honestly thought I was going to pass out! They register around a million Scovilles. A Jalapeno hovers around the six thousand mark. And if we do manage to wangle our participation...
I hate losing. At anything. Ever. Full. Stop. The. End.
This could get messy

Thanks, it was excellent! Tried lots of new sauces and munched on a few Nagas. Oh and chilli cider! That was damn good, cold and refreshing with a hot aftertaste!
