Article in the New! Magazine (18)

At least I think it was New! I was also reading Love It, so it could have been that. It may also have been mentioned elsewhere on IC, but I haven't come across it.

Anyway, there was an article about a sub called Juliet and her Master Nick. I was expecting the usual derision from the writer of the piece, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Juliet gave a brilliant account of what being a sub means to her, and how it doesn't clash with her feminist views. The writer admits they don't fully understand why anyone would put themselves in Juliet's position, but they don't judge or condemn. In fact, they even said the love and care between Master and sub was obvious.

It was a very good article which will hopefully enlighten a few people at least.

If you're on here, Nick and Juliet, congratulations for being so open and honest. I hope it doesn't bring any problems from your vanilla friends and acqaintances.

Your voice, it chased away all the sanity in me.

Unfortunately most of the stories in these magazines are made up and the pictures are cast from modelling agencies.

A model friend of mine has been in Love It various times with his picture alongside made up stories, and my own images have been published in a couple of those rags too.

It's good that stories like this are going out to a mainstream public, but don't be under any illusion that there's truth in the magazines!

Knowing 2 of the people who did an article for Love it a couple of months ago on balloon fetish I can pretty much deduce that their articles are not made up

They also feature stories such as:

"I DID NOT KNOW MY CHAV RAPIST BOYFRIEND HAD AN AFFAIR WITH MY AUNTS COUSINS BEST FRIEND"

or

"HE ATE MY DISABLED NIECE ON OUR WEDDING DAY BUT I STILL LOVE HIM"

I am not sure Readers Digest for Chavs had the well being of the "Beedeeessum Community Scene" in mind when it ran the story. More likely their intention was to provide Karen Matthews-esque types something to flick their beans to before fucking some layabout off facebook.

Yes but she is just jumping on the bandwagon like a certain other singer.
