Well it was so hot Lethargy was setting in and this months thread nearly became a victim of it but the good old British weather has once again had a sudden change and energy returned once again.

So for your pleasure and benefit behold the totally pointless August Thread.

I think you should start with July FoxyBabe....;)

I don't think you will get many responses to a totally pointless thread....I mean who would bother?

As the official secretary of the keep August special month, we decline to accept that August is pointless.

It defines the holiday fracas that is Britain, causes people to go to warm climates and get pink, then not want to return, some never do, we say this alone should cause praise of August, fewer bums flashing on friday and saturday night, except in spain or greece.

Also it heralds the coming of september, when the childypeeps return to school, parents become semi human again, and our roads become cluttered., then the decline into the months to the santa debarcle

August rocks, in so many ways.

Sweet smell of the mint basil, parsley. Wonderful invention the balconey.
I am known as What?, says who?, only way to know for sure is ask me. Very often your description of scum, becomes a reflection of who you really are.

Is this the 'silly season' perchance? Can't we discuss something serious like cheese?

Cheese is tabled to be discussed again in September, The August event had been booked in since last year and Parliament is not currently in session to vote for change.

Can't you call an Extraordinary Meeting of the Cheese Board and get that august body to pass a motion sanctioning the abolition of August and its replacement by September?

As for Parliament, with the current Eurozone cheese crisis, sparked off by the run on the Feta in Greece, the collapse of the Cashel Blue in Ireland, the pressure on the Gorgonzola in Italy not to mention the weakness of the Manchego in Spain, in full spate, you cannot realistically expect them to worry about an IC thread!

OK it's confession time, the whole Euro crisis was sparked off by a fiendish plot hatched up by TYN to crash the Euro and replace it with the new universally recognised currency 'The Tit' .
