Well, have finished my book, and am left feeling depressed. This is a 'how not to play' book. Perhaps all new subs should read it as a dire warning! It's supposed to be based on a true story- I think if I'd acted like the heroine- playing with a Dom who couldn't give two hoots for her and becoming obsessed by him- I'd be too embarrassed to write about it, let alone get it published!
And the descriptions of the clubs he took her to, were pretty grim! In a tacky way, folks, not scary, dungeon-like and sinister...mwahahah. Voice echoes around the chilly dank walls, as the flames flicker from the torches...oops got carried away there- where was I?
I think it would have been better titled as 'Obsession- one woman's decline into stupidity'. Still, there you go. I suppose we all make mistakes. I guess I'm more of a sweeping the dust under the carpet kind of gal, rather than inviting all the neighbours round to see it.
Hopefully I'll get more jollies from 'Men in Love'. I wonder how many weird fantasies will be in that? Always good to see the male perspective particularly when writing erotica
I'm saving it til I've finished my library books- anticipation is the key to so many delights... Himself has suggested that he may possibly have to practice his knots tonight...I *do* hope so.

I thought the submissive viewpoint was done well and put over clearly, I think it was the lack of respect for herself that riled me. Maihri |
