My take on the fascist massacre in Norway is that the man involved was a 'hardcore' fascist who was impatient with the normal political processes and showed the true nature of fascism by murdering innocent young social democrats.
Now I'm not saying that the far right in Britain are 'hardcore' fascists, I really know very little about them and even the most fanatical fascists at the moment will disassociate themselves from this man given the horror of what he has done.
However, I think that in the current economic crisis and with the imposition of austerity in Europe and the US the tendency for nationalist and fascist sentiments will grow.
Not only do I believe in no political platform for fascists (I personally believe the police should have shot him dead even though I am opposed to the death penalty), I also believe in censoring those (at least on my weblog) who show them any sympathy.

All I originally wanted to do was draw attention to possible dangers as the fascist may have had accomplices. Then I got political opposition to this on my weblog
it seems when a fascist carries out murders and a socialist warns of the dangers, it is the socialist who is verbally attacked To be honest I may abandon this website altogether, I've got too much else on and I don't need this right now. Are you saying democracy (pure or not pure???) is the same as mob rule? | |||
