Last night was a scream.
It saw me screaming out torrents of laughter and Master screaming out in absolute agony. (Doesn't that make me sound quite sadistic?!
)
Ok here's the story.....
Master had a marathon play session planned, part of which was to include the use of our suspension bar. Now, as any good Dom should, he ALWAYS tests out the equipment himself before attaching me to it or using anything on me. Last night was no exception and as he was swinging from the bar (all 17 stone of him) disaster struck.
The cleat which secures the rope to the wall snapped clean in two sending Master flying in a none-too-graceful arc across the bedroom floor and crashing into my cage. The look on his face was an absolute picture, he didn't seem to be certain whether he was in any pain or not......till he tried to get up! At this point i was not laughing, indeed i was very concerned about him. He managed to get up and collapse across the bed asking for an ice-pack (bag of frozen chips) for his back which i immediately went to fetch.
Not to be outdone he was soon back up and went about fixing the problem in such a way that such an accident could not happen again and did a very good job of it too might i say. Then came the second test. He hung from the bar again but this time in such a way that if, on the off-chance lightening should strike twice in the same place then at least he would not go flying back into the cage again.
The newly installed anchor point held firm.
One of the ceiling joist bolts however did not!!!
The whole set up came crashing down and so did Master...right onto his already very bad knees (too many years of kneeling on damp ground round rabbit holes while ferreting).
Now this time i really did have great difficulty keeping my face straight. If his face was a picture after the first mis-hap then it was a bleedin masterpiece now. First words out of his mouth? "Get chips, get paracetamol and get Steve (my son) to help me up......I'm stuck!!!!"
Off I went again to fetch the bag of frozen chips PLUS a bag of frozen something else (two knees you see), painkillers plus boy to assist getting him up off the floor. Master was going between crying out in agony and giggling his head off.....i was just creased. There he was...on his knees before me! It took him a good half hour to get up off the floor and when he walked around he looked about 90.
Needless to say play was postponed.
Thought i'd share this with you if only to give you a giggle but it also serves as a reminder of the importance to regularly check and re-check all equipment before use. But i'm sure that goes without saying....![]()
