Open question, does anyone know where I can get some good, folding furniture, as I am short of space, and would like some decent furniture. not really sure where to start, and I have neither the skills or the tools to do it! Any recommendations? Oh, and I can't modify anything in the house... its rented :P

If you want something light weight and and compact. I make just about any furniture you want from steel or timber. at very reasonable prices. Let me know what you want and we can both sit down and work out your design requirements and so on . I make everything bespoke so its all made to measure and in the colors of your choice and so on. I look forward to hearing from you. Trainer Bryan

Have a look at my website The majority of the pieces come apart for storage and transportation. They are all simple to assemble too. Chris Edited 17 Jul 11, 9:31 AM by safeandsoundbdsm

I'll second this recomendation, we have three pieces from VAF, one of which is a folding bench, and their furniture is well made and solid.

The most adaptable piece of furniture that I would recommend is a 'four poster bed' and I believe that most of my subjects would concur. You can tie a subject down, suspend then over the mattress frame, tie them to the mattress frame, tie them up between two of the 1.8m high legs at the end of the bed or bend them over the bed end rail.
Happy to demonstrate how effective it can be to any willing subjects Have fun, Madam

Think about what you enjoy getting up as well so that the item gives appropriate access to the right part of anatomy. And then look for something that is adaptable from there. I've always wanted a keeklamp/scaffolding system so that it could be adapted for various uses like a big Meccano kit. You can buy bits at a time and would break down fine but then you might need a wide range of poles which might take up storage space. Can you tell I'm bored and have nothing better to do with my life?

Buy a foldaway weights bench. Argos have some reasonably priced ones, go have a look and I'm sure you'll be able to find some potential in those.
